EKUMA GmbH are an engineering company based in Pucking, just outside Linz in Austria. They manufacture equipment for use in the plastics recycling industry. Below you will see details of some of the equipment they can supply.
DRD DRIER
The DRD drier is used to reduce / remove moisture from pre - granulated / pre - shredded film or bottles. It can be positioned at the end of a washing Plant to dry the flake prior to storage / feeding to the extruder or in front of an EREMA to increase the production / quality.
An added benefit has been found that it is also very efficient at removing loose contamination such as brick dust, soil, sand etc. So it can be used to "dry clean" materials that would normally have to be washed saving a significant amount of energy / money.

SEPARATOR
This is positioned in front of the DRD Drier if you wish to process pre-shredded films with a higher level of loose contaminants enabling the user to process materials that would normally require some form of wet washing.
