In some cases, a conventional degassing system cannot cope with the levels of print in modern films, or materials with a higher level of moisture or contamination could not even be considered. EREMA noticed this and developed the TVE Process which has the filters upstream of the double vented vacuum. This enables the user to process materials that could not be considered before, also at higher outputs than conventional degassing. Advantages include -

Gasses created by contaminants (such as paper) degrading on the filter screens are removed at the venting stage. On conventional lines these gasses have no where to go but to remain in the pellet. |
